I remember when I was a boy, and I would lay just like Rasmus is doing in this photo. Not a care in the world, just playing and making believe. and if there was a care, well.. the play would extinguish it almost instantly. There is something unique about play. I heard recently from a famous designer that our work should be like serious play. when the play becomes somber play, then we lose our edge, our creativity, and life becomes bull and uninspiring, Here are a few more photos our serious play. I hope you will enjoy them 🙂
Rasmus and Lucas became instantly happy when I got the computer up and running. Hmm! Is this serious half-play? imean, computers suck some of the creativity out of our brains, don't they?
The bos on the sofa wearing their advent costumes
Rasmus got ice skates and a hockey stick and helmet for Christmas. He practices hard and focuses with all his might on hitting the puck.
I promise, I did not set him up for this shot!
Rasmus is into board games. We have to teach him that he can't make up new rules, that suit his advantage on, the fly.
Again! I promise he wanted to shoot pictures without my urging.
Half the time I have to gently beg Rasmus if I can take "just one more picture".
I know of no child on this planet who would not instantly get into a creative Lego moment.. do you?
Lucas has a definite fighting spirit, and here he shows it with passion!
And again, he can calm right down and enjoy a good read
Only a parent (or preschool teacher) can truly appreciate the number of times a little boy asks you to choose "your" favorite toy in the toy catalogue.
